Why This App

Modern motherhood exists under constant pressure.

Mothers are expected to be emotionally available, patient, informed, and resilient, often while carrying invisible mental and emotional load. At the same time, early childhood is a critical period

for emotional development, when children learn how to feel, express, and regulate emotions by observing and mirroring their caregivers.

 

Most digital products address either the child or the parent.
Freya addresses the relationship.

How It Works

Freya works because it is built around how emotional regulation actually develops, not how we wish it did.

In early childhood, emotional safety is learned through co-regulation. Children do not regulate themselves independently; they borrow calm, rhythm, and meaning from the adults closest to them. At the same time, mothers are often expected to provide emotional stability while carrying their own unacknowledged psychological load.

Freya addresses both sides of this relationship simultaneously.

Rather than separating “children’s content” from “parent wellbeing,” Freya treats the mother–child relationship as a single emotional ecosystem. Stories, sounds, routines, and reflective practices are designed to support shared calm, predictable rhythms, and emotional presence that both child and mother can access together.
